Nominations are now open for the Sustainable Agriculture Award to recognise the unparalleled contribution Welsh farming enterprises make to the economic, environmental, social and cultural well-being of Wales.
The award focuses on the production of high-quality food to world-leading standards, positive contributions to protecting, maintaining and enhancing the farmed environment, and involvement in supporting the rural economy, rural community, and Welsh culture.
The winner of this prestigious award will receive funding of £500 along with a commemorative accolade. Eligible applicants are farms or farmers who can demonstrate sustainable agricultural practices, environmental responsibility, and meaningful contributions to rural life and Welsh culture.
Applicants are expected to showcase their commitment to producing high-quality food while balancing environmental sustainability and community engagement. The award aims to highlight those making a positive impact within the agricultural sector and rural Wales through responsible farming practices and active participation in local communities.
