The Ministry of Culture has opened a call for expressions of interest for grants and sponsorships to support visual arts, architecture, photography and design activities.
The support and development of contemporary artistic creation and production, the emergence of new and original/innovative ideas of artistic expression and cultural action, supporting the work of young artists and fostering new artistic movements, the development of the public and the diffusion of cultural goods among citizens, the strengthening of cross-sectoral/cross-artistic actions in Contemporary Culture and the encouragement of creative synergies in Greece and internationally, strengthening the cultural and creative economy as a pillar of social and economic development and the creation of new jobs, the development of actions in the Region with the aim of supporting and utilizing the human resources of each region and contributing to the economic revitalization of local communities.
The promotion of equality in access, participation and familiarity with contemporary cultural events, with emphasis on young people, vulnerable and vulnerable social groups, as well as special audiences, strengthening social cohesion and contributing to the acceptance of diversity, strengthening knowledge for an even more sustainable environment, through socially responsible actions, promoting digital transformation and digital innovation in the field of culture, strengthening the prestige and reputation of Greek contemporary artistic creation abroad and the emergence of Greece as a strong and recognizable pole of development of Contemporary Culture.
This opportunity aims to strengthen the creative sector by supporting a broad range of activities across visual arts, architecture, photography and design. Proposals are expected to reflect creative expression through visual media, highlighting the power of visual communication to deliver artistic messages and evoke emotional engagement without reliance on words. The program reinforces the importance of artistic work that inspires audiences and enhances cultural appreciation.
Eligible organizations are allowed to submit one proposal covering all calls under the programs Creative Greece – Grants for Contemporary Culture 2026 and Modern Cultural Heritage, while the program “All of Greece One Culture” is excluded. The goal is to encourage cultural development while offering structured support for artistic production and new cultural ideas across the country.
The grant also supports artists, cultural organizations and creative professionals in developing visual arts projects that promote innovation, cultural participation and meaningful artistic engagement. By encouraging participation from diverse social groups and younger audiences, the program contributes to building a dynamic and inclusive cultural environment.
