Are you a first-generation entrepreneur with a ground breaking startup idea? This is your chance to turn your vision into reality with the Entrepreneurs in Residence (EiR) program under GENESIS.
The focus areas are AR/VR Spatial, AI/ML, VLSI/Semiconductor, Cybersecurity, IoT, Quantum computing, Blockchain, and Immersive Tech.
The MeitY GENESIS EiR program offers a startup grant of up to 10 lakh rupees.
Through this program, selected entrepreneurs will benefit from mentorship by industry leaders, funding support to ignite their startup journey, and access to a vibrant ecosystem that nurtures entrepreneurial growth. The program is designed to support and strengthen India’s startup ecosystem through targeted assistance in high-impact technology areas while promoting inclusive participation.
Eligibility requires applicants to be Indian citizens, 18 years or older, actively working as founders or co-founders of DPIIT-registered startups less than two years old. Startups in the fields of Electronic Design and Manufacturing, Deeptech software or products, and the ICT space are encouraged to apply. Additionally, applicants must be incubated physically at the designated centre and should belong to Tier II or Tier III cities. The program is open to startups at the stages of ideation, concept development, validation or problem-solution fit, proof of concept, or prototyping.
