Enterprise Nation and VistaPrint are teaming up once again to champion the UK’s small business community through the return of the “Realising the Remarkable” initiative.
The focus is on supporting small independent retail businesses in the UK by offering them grants, expert design support, and marketing tools to help them grow with confidence.
This year, six independent retail businesses will each receive a £5,000 grant, alongside a free 12-month subscription to VistaCreate Pro, £1,000 in credits for VistaPrint’s UK website, and additional marketing and design support. In total, £30,000 in grant funding is available. To be eligible, businesses must be based in the UK with a UK business bank account, be a registered commercial business with no more than three physical premises, have fewer than 50 employees, and have been trading for at least six months. Applicants must also agree to share their success stories if requested.
Applications close on 30 October 2025 at 11:59 GMT. From the submissions, twelve businesses will be shortlisted and notified by 7 November 2025 to provide a short pitch video explaining how they would use the grant. Final winners will then be selected by a panel of judges.
This initiative comes at a crucial time, as small retailers across the UK face mounting challenges such as rising costs, reduced footfall, and changing customer habits. The grant offers a much-needed lifeline, enabling businesses to invest in areas like branding, shop improvements, product development, or marketing to stay competitive and thrive.
