Deadline: October 07, 2025
The Stephen L. Tadlock Veteran Business Grant Programme offers veteran entrepreneurs nationwide a unique opportunity to access both funding and business development resources to strengthen and grow their companies.
The programme offers a $1,000 micro-grant and free access to one of two signature programs, Passport Community or Zebra Leadership, providing veteran entrepreneurs with guidance in marketing, sales, operations, and finance, along with CEO leadership development, team building, and strategies for business scaling. It is designed to support veteran-led small businesses by providing flexible funding that can be applied toward equipment, operations, staffing, or other growth needs.
This programme was established in honor of U.S. Navy Veteran Stephen L. Tadlock and aims to celebrate his service by empowering veteran-led businesses with the tools and funding they need to succeed. Each year, 20 veteran entrepreneurs are selected as finalists to receive a $1,000 micro-grant along with complimentary access to one of Founders First’s signature programs, either Passport Community or Zebra Leadership.
Passport Community provides weekly expert-led sessions covering marketing, sales, operations, and finance, helping business owners scale their operations faster and more efficiently. Zebra Leadership is a six-session program designed to equip founders with the skills to step fully into the CEO role, build strong teams, and scale their businesses with confidence. Both programs, valued at $149 per month and $1,699 respectively, are offered free to finalists.
Applications for the programme are reviewed, and semi-finalists are chosen before announcing the 20 finalists at a virtual press event. Eligible applicants must be U.S. military veterans who are CEOs, Presidents, or Business Owners of an active U.S.-based business with 2 to 100 employees, annual revenue not exceeding $5 million, and at least one year in operation.
This grant programme provides a rare combination of financial support and hands-on training, enabling veteran entrepreneurs to address immediate business needs while gaining essential leadership and scaling skills. Interested applicants should submit their applications by Tuesday, October 7, 2025, to be considered for this transformative opportunity.
