The Business Reports for SMEs Grant Scheme seeks applications to support small and medium-sized enterprises by providing non-repayable funding to help part-finance external consultancy services that support business decision-making.
The scheme supports consultancy services for a Process and Systems Review aimed at making the undertaking potentially more efficient, or the preparation of a Business Plan addressing proposed investment initiatives aimed at making the undertaking potentially more competitive.
The grant provides a lump sum of €4,000, representing 80% of the eligible costs. To be eligible, applicants must be small and medium-sized enterprises. The consultancy services must be procured from external Consultancy Service Providers registered with the IB that are autonomous and unrelated to the beneficiary undertaking.
The funding is intended to help businesses obtain professional business reports that support informed decision-making. Eligible consultancy services include reviewing business processes and systems to improve efficiency or preparing a business plan focused on proposed investment initiatives to strengthen competitiveness.
