The Marketing Strategy for Micro and Small Enterprises scheme provides grant support to help eligible businesses access external services for developing marketing strategies.
The scheme focuses on supporting micro and small enterprises through non-repayable grants, improving business efficiency and competitiveness, developing marketing strategies that align promotional activities with business objectives, promoting entrepreneurship, supporting innovative and smart economic transformation, enhancing sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs, and supporting job creation in SMEs.
Micro and small enterprises often face limitations in in-house resources and expertise required to conduct marketing strategies. This grant scheme supports enterprises by part-financing costs for external services contracted to develop a marketing strategy.
A marketing strategy provides enterprises with plans and actions to promote their business, products, or services and achieve their goals while aligning marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
The scheme falls under Policy Objective 1 of the SFC2021 Programme 2021–2027, which focuses on creating a more competitive and smarter Europe through innovative and smart economic transformation and regional ICT connectivity.
The Marketing Strategy for Micro & Small Enterprises scheme will remain operational until 31 December 2026, subject to availability of funds. The initial allocated budget for the scheme is €500,000.
The maximum grant value available under the scheme is €10,000.
Eligible applicants include micro and small-sized enterprises engaged in an economic activity, regardless of their legal form, subject to the listed exclusions.
