The Marketing Strategy for Micro and Small Enterprises Grant Scheme offers to support micro and small enterprises in Malta to develop effective marketing strategies that improve competitiveness.
The focus areas include marketing strategy development, external consultancy services, business promotion planning, competitiveness, efficiency improvement, alignment with business objectives, sustainable growth, entrepreneurship, and SME development.
The Marketing Strategy scheme is designed to support micro and small enterprises that lack in-house marketing expertise by funding external services to develop structured marketing strategies. It helps businesses create clear plans for promoting their products and services effectively.
The scheme ensures that marketing strategies align with the overall business objectives of enterprises, enabling them to improve market presence and operational efficiency. It focuses on strengthening business competitiveness through better planning and execution of marketing activities.
This grant scheme falls under Policy Objective 1 of the SFC2021 Programme 2021–2027, which promotes a more competitive and smarter Europe through innovation, digital transformation, and entrepreneurship. It also supports sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs through productive investments.
The scheme will remain operational until 31 December 2026, subject to available funding. The total allocated budget is €500,000, with a maximum grant value of €10,000 per undertaking for eligible costs.
Eligible applicants include micro and small enterprises engaged in economic activity, subject to legal requirements and exclusions. All applicants must be properly registered under applicable legislation.
