Deadline Date: December 31, 2026
The Agri-Food Cluster Transformation Fund is now accepting applications to help local farms in Singapore strengthen their capabilities and adopt technology.
The focus areas of the ACT Fund include Capability Upgrading, Technology Upscaling, and Industry Partnership for Capability Transformation. These areas support the adoption of farming solutions and equipment, consultancy and certification services, commercial-scale farming technologies, and strategic partnerships that promote industry-wide solutions.
The ACT Fund aims to transform the agri-food sector into one that is highly productive, climate-resilient, and resource-efficient. Under Capability Upgrading, farms can receive funding to adopt pre-scoped farming solutions and equipment or engage consultancy and certification services to achieve recognised standards such as the Singapore Clean & Green Urban Farms Standard and Singapore Good Agricultural or Aquaculture Practice certification.
Funding is also available through the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) for the agri-food sector. The grant supports farms in adopting pre-scoped farming solutions and equipment, including systems ranging from aeration equipment to post-harvest solutions.
For farms seeking certification, eligible expenses include consultancy and certification fees. A one-off funding amount of $15,000 is available, consisting of $10,000 for qualifying consultancy fees and $5,000 for certification-related fees. Farms certified under the Singapore Clean & Green Urban Farms Standard or Singapore Good Agricultural or Aquaculture Practice certification adopt standards that promote efficient and sustainable food production.
Under Technology Upscaling, funding is available for investments in farming technologies, production systems, and standalone pre- and post-harvest facilities that support commercial-scale production. The fund also supports the adoption of automated and advanced farming technologies, including systems integrated with agri-input production, post-harvest, and waste treatment technologies. Related infrastructure and building works required for new farm sites or the retrofitting of existing industrial spaces are also covered.
The ACT Fund is available only to local farms in Singapore. Applicants must operate a farm in Singapore and hold a valid farm licence issued by the Singapore Food Agency to be eligible for funding.
