The focus areas of this programme include minimizing climate and environmental impact of vehicle production, operation and decommissioning, circular design for products, climate-neutral manufacturing, improvement of work environment, competence development, and cognitive and physical support within production systems, as well as circularity in the automotive sector. It supports innovation and research activities that contribute to more sustainable vehicle systems and reduced environmental impact.
The programme funds research and development activities focused on the product, people, and production system. This includes design for circularity, climate-neutral manufacturing processes, and improvements in working conditions and skills support within the sector.
Funding requires at least 25 percent business participation in each project. The maximum funding available is 500,000 SEK for preliminary studies and smaller studies.
Eligible applicants include research organisations, companies, public organisations, and non-profit organisations. All projects must involve at least two participating parties.
