The UNDP timbuktoo Launchpad programme is designed to identify and support promising entrepreneurs developing innovative solutions for the creative economy. It is anchored within timbuktoo, UNDP’s pan-African platform that supports innovation and entrepreneurship across the continent.
The programme offers selected startups structured incubation support delivered by African incubators, access to experienced mentors and industry experts, participation in a pan-African network of founders and ecosystem partners, and access to the Seedstars SIGMA platform for tracking development and progress. It also supports investment readiness through pitch development, investor engagement, demo days, and opportunities for acceleration and early-stage investment pathways.
Eligible applicants must be startups based in Africa or building solutions for African markets. They should have a prototype or minimum viable product, a committed founding team, and a technology-enabled solution relevant to the creative economy with demonstrated potential for growth and scalability.
