The European Commission offers to support projects that develop and upgrade transport infrastructure for both civilian and defence use across the TEN-T and EU military mobility networks.
The focus areas of this call include dual-use transport infrastructure development, TEN-T network adaptation, EU military mobility network connectivity, infrastructure located on military mobility corridors, cross-border transport projects across multiple Member States, studies and works for dual-use infrastructure, compliance with dual-use infrastructure requirements under EU regulations, and development of transport infrastructure serving both civilian and defence purposes. The total funding available for this call is €130,000,000.
This call supports dual-use projects, including studies, works, or mixed actions, aimed at strengthening transport infrastructure that meets both civilian and defence requirements. Projects must be located on the TEN-T network and the EU military mobility network established by the Council, with priority given to projects situated on military mobility priority corridors and those involving two or more Member States.
The projects funded under this call are required to align with applicable infrastructure requirements for dual-use transport actions as defined in relevant EU implementing regulations. All proposals must ensure compliance with the conditions applicable to dual-use infrastructure development.
Where proposals combine studies and works, each component must address separate sections or activities within the project scope. Facilities and infrastructure supported under this call must remain accessible for use by all operators on a non-discriminatory basis.
Eligible applicants include public and private legal entities established in EU Member States, including overseas countries and territories, as well as countries associated with the CEF Programme.
