The Mobility Challenge is a collaborative initiative between Maruti Suzuki and T-Hub that provides growth-stage startups with an opportunity to co-create innovative solutions for the mobility ecosystem. The programme is designed to support startups in accelerating their go-to-market journey while addressing critical cybersecurity needs.
For Cohort 5, startups are invited to develop AI-driven and automation-first cybersecurity solutions that strengthen security resilience across Maruti Suzuki’s digital ecosystem. The proposed solutions should integrate with existing enterprise systems, support real-time operations, minimize disruption to business processes, and comply with applicable data privacy and regulatory requirements.
The programme offers cash rewards to the top-performing participants. The winner will receive ₹5,00,000, the first runner-up will receive ₹3,00,000, and the second runner-up will receive ₹2,00,000.
Winning startups will also have the opportunity to explore a paid proof of concept with Maruti Suzuki. In addition, participants can benefit from mentorship provided by experts from T-Hub and industry leaders from Maruti Suzuki.
The challenge enables startups to collaborate with Maruti Suzuki and access a large-scale environment for testing, validating, and refining innovative solutions. This collaboration supports faster commercialization and market adoption of technologies.
Startups also gain industry visibility and credibility through their association with Maruti Suzuki and T-Hub. Furthermore, founders may have the opportunity to participate in Maruti Suzuki FundRays, an investor readiness programme conducted in partnership with the Indian School of Business Hyderabad to support fundraising efforts.
The challenge is open to established startups that have reached a mature stage and are ready to deploy their solutions. Applicants must demonstrate proven capabilities in one or more of the identified focus areas.
Solutions should be scalable, automation-driven, and capable of improving cybersecurity performance indicators such as mean time to detect, mean time to respond, operational efficiency, technology consolidation, and cost optimization. Proposed technologies must be compatible with enterprise environments and capable of integrating with existing tools.
Applicants must ensure that their products or technologies are original, owned, or appropriately licensed. Solutions must also comply with applicable data privacy and regulatory requirements and support data residency within the Indian landscape.
