The Agorize is inviting global innovators to collaborate with leading Japanese manufacturing companies through structured business matchmaking and innovation partnerships in Japan.
The program focuses on Environmental Sustainability/GX & Green Tech, Climate Tech, Green Transition, Circular Economy, and Manufacturing innovation including advanced production technologies, robotics, materials science, logistics optimization, and value-based manufacturing transformation.
This initiative connects selected startups with major industrial players in Aichi Prefecture, enabling collaboration on real-world challenges across decarbonization, industrial efficiency, smart manufacturing systems, and sustainable material development, supported by Japan’s largest startup incubation ecosystem at STATION Ai.
Selected startups are provided access to direct engagement opportunities with decision-makers from leading companies, along with tailored support to refine go-to-market strategy for the Japanese market. Additional support includes interpretation services, proof-of-concept facilitation, and ongoing business development assistance before, during, and after the program in Japan.
Mentoring support is included to help participating startups adapt their business models for the Japanese market and improve readiness for collaboration with industrial partners. Post-program engagement continues through introductions, follow-ups, and ecosystem access to sustain long-term business development.
Eligibility is generally targeted toward startups at seed, early, or mid-stage development that already possess a minimum viable product and are ready for pilot testing or potential contracting with Japanese companies. Applicants are expected to demonstrate the ability to communicate and collaborate in English or with Japanese partners, along with clear business synergy potential with companies in Aichi Prefecture.
