The European Union is inviting grant applications to provide advisory support for SMEs to develop greener investment projects focused on circular economy and bio-economy activities.
The focus areas include sustainable design, product durability, reparability and recyclability, material innovation, sustainable manufacturing, resource efficiency, reduction of environmental impacts, sustainable consumption, product life extension, repair and refurbishment systems, end-of-life solutions, waste collection infrastructure, sorting systems, material recovery, and research and innovation in resource recovery technologies.
The call is designed to provide access to advisory services that support the development of green and sustainable investment projects across various sectors. It particularly targets SMEs benefiting from the European Enterprise Network and aims to strengthen circular and bio-based economic activities.
The initiative supports investments that improve product design for sustainability, enhance manufacturing processes to reduce environmental impacts, extend product lifecycles, and develop systems for recycling and material recovery. It also promotes innovation in waste management and resource efficiency.
The total available budget for the call is EUR 3 million. The initiative aims to support multiple assignments that contribute to greener economic practices and sustainable industrial transformation.
Eligible applicants include any legal entity established in EU Member States or associated countries participating in the EU Single Market Programme, including EU-27 countries and selected associated third countries. Applicants must qualify as SMEs, defined as enterprises with fewer than 250 full-time employees engaged in economic activity.
