The Global Cleantech Innovation Programme is inviting grant applications to support innovative clean-tech enterprises with seed funding for business scale-up and post-accelerator development.
The focus areas, include clean technology innovation, business scale-up, advanced business growth, commercialization, investment readiness, market readiness, technology readiness, SME development, energy efficiency innovations, waste beneficiation, e-mobility solutions, renewable energy technologies, green building innovations, advanced materials and chemicals, and sustainable enterprise development.
The Global Cleantech Innovation Programme provides support to clean-tech enterprises through tailored financial assistance based on demonstrated sales traction, financial viability, problem-solving capacity, and commitment to business continuity. The programme aims to strengthen the growth and impact of innovative small and medium enterprises working in the clean technology sector.
The programme is structured around six innovation categories, referred to as lots, covering energy efficiency innovations, waste beneficiation, e-mobility innovations, renewable energy innovations, green building solutions, and advanced materials and chemicals. Each enterprise is required to select the lot that best represents its technological solution.
Funding is provided through grant ticket sizes of up to $20,000 USD per enterprise. The programme duration is 3 weeks and is designed to support enterprises in scaling and advancing their innovations within a short implementation period.
The initiative primarily targets small and medium enterprises that have progressed through incubation or acceleration programmes with verified performance-based outcomes from recognized incubation hubs. Priority is given to enterprises that demonstrate readiness for further scaling and market entry.
Female-led and youth-led enterprises are strongly encouraged to apply, reflecting the programme’s commitment to inclusive participation and support for underrepresented groups in the clean technology sector.
