The Cummins India Foundation and Venture Center CSR collaboration continues into its sixth year, supporting innovation in clean energy and environmental technologies for social impact.
The program focuses on energy and environment, energy efficiency, renewable energy, air pollution, drinking water, waste management, alternative energy, environmental clean tech, and biomass utilization, aiming to promote impactful technological solutions in these domains.
The initiative provides funding support for pilot trials, field testing, and technology implementation projects in clean energy and environment domains. Selected grantees may receive funding of up to INR 20 lakhs per project with a maximum project duration of six months.
Applicants will be evaluated based on the soundness and innovativeness of the technology idea, strength of the team, value proposition, business model, commercial potential, scalability, impact potential, budget, and timeline requirements.
The program does not support pure software development without IP potential or pure academic research.
