Applicants are now submit applications to support research and development projects between Swedish and German small and medium-sized enterprises to develop innovative, market-oriented and sustainable solutions.
The focus areas of this program include research and development activities within industrial research and experimental development; creation of products, technology-based services, and methods across all technological and application areas; development of sustainable solutions with market potential; and addressing societal challenges through innovation and cross-border collaboration between SMEs.
Funding of up to SEK 3 million is available per project, aimed at supporting the development and implementation of joint R&D initiatives that can generate sustainable and commercially viable innovations.
This initiative is designed to strengthen cooperation between enterprises in Germany and Sweden by supporting joint R&D efforts that lead to practical and scalable innovations. It encourages partnerships that combine expertise from different sectors to develop advanced technological solutions with real-world applications.
The program supports activities defined under EU industrial research and experimental development categories, ensuring that funded projects focus on innovation-driven outcomes. It also promotes collaboration with academic institutions and research institutes as project partners, where possible, to enhance knowledge exchange and technical depth.
Eligible applicants include small and medium-sized enterprises with up to 499 employees. Companies are expected to collaborate on joint projects, with co-financing of eligible costs in accordance with state aid regulations. The program encourages participation from academia and research institutes as supporting partners to strengthen project outcomes.
