The Open Challenge Program is inviting applications to support startups in developing innovative GIS and drone technology solutions through incubation, mentorship, and funding at the Itanagar Centre of Excellence.
The focus areas of the program include GIS and drone applications for urban planning, disaster management, environmental monitoring, agricultural mapping, and infrastructure development, along with fostering innovation, technology adoption, and ecosystem development for startups in these sectors.
This initiative aims to incubate and accelerate startups working in GIS and drone technologies by providing access to mentorship, seed funding, training, marketing support, patent facilitation, and advanced incubation infrastructure. It also promotes the development of practical solutions that address regional and sectoral challenges.
The program seeks to build a strong innovation ecosystem that supports early-stage entrepreneurs and encourages the creation of scalable solutions using GIS and drone technologies. It also focuses on enhancing collaboration between startups, professionals, and institutions in the sector.
Eligible applicants include private limited companies, registered partnership firms, or limited liability partnerships incorporated under relevant Indian laws, with incorporation within the last 10 years. Applicants must be engaged in innovative development or improvement of GIS and drone-based products or services with potential for employment generation and economic impact.
The program is based in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, and is dedicated to advancing technological innovation in GIS and drone applications.
