The focus areas include professional development activities, supporting services for environmental investigative journalism, training programmes, fellowship opportunities, and initiatives that enable investigative journalists to better investigate environmental issues.
The total budget for this grant in 2026 is €225,000, distributed over three application rounds with €75,000 allocated per round. Eligible proposals must be clearly defined, time-limited, and carried out by legal entities with a proven track record of working with journalists and/or environmental issues.
