The RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards is Canada’s premier national awards program recognizing and celebrating the achievements of the nation’s most accomplished, influential, and impactful women entrepreneurs.
The RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards provide recognition, visibility, and celebration of women entrepreneurs who are driving economic and social impact, inspiring future leaders, and contributing to a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in Canada.
The focus areas and objectives of this opportunity include elevating women’s contributions to economic growth, social change, and innovation across sectors, highlighting success stories of women entrepreneurs, and encouraging leadership and influence in business and social enterprises. The awards aim to celebrate women who have demonstrated significant impact as founders, leaders, and decision-makers in their organizations, including contributions to financial stability, growth, and social impact.
Applications for the awards involve three main steps. First, nominees must be nominated by March 20, 2026, either through self-nomination or by others. Second, all nominees must complete an Eligibility Confirmation Form to verify that they meet the basic criteria, which include being a leader of a non-profit or business registered as a sole proprietorship or corporation for at least three years as of April 30, 2026, having profitability or financial stability in the last fiscal year, owning shares in the company, holding the most senior executive title or chief decision-making role, and being the founder or having significant impact on the business. Certain awards, such as the Social Change Award or Ones to Watch Award, may have slightly different eligibility considerations.
