The Innovation Fund is currently accepting grant applications for its green research, technology, and innovation to support that benefit the environment, climate, biodiversity, and sustainable growth.
The program focuses on green research, technology, and innovation with an emphasis on climate impact, climatic resilience, nature, biodiversity, environmental protection including aquatic environments, economic growth, employment, and research in energy systems.
The total budget for this initiative is a minimum of DKK 100 million, with DKK 30 million specifically earmarked for research in energy systems. Individual projects can receive funding ranging from DKK 5 million to DKK 30 million.
Projects supported under this program may run for a duration of one to five years, allowing for both shorter-term and longer-term research and development efforts.
Any legal entity in Denmark or abroad is eligible to participate in a project and receive funding. Eligible participants include businesses, research institutions, and public institutions.
