Applications are now open for the Student Entrepreneur Awards, offering third-level students an exciting opportunity to compete for significant cash prizes and expert support to turn innovative ideas into viable businesses.
The focus areas of the Student Entrepreneur Awards include providing students with the opportunity to become entrepreneurs, helping participants stand out to employers and investors through demonstrated innovation, offering cash funding to support start-up businesses, and delivering expert advice, mentoring, and specialist assistance to guide enterprise development.
The Student Entrepreneur Awards are designed to support high-potential student-led enterprise ideas by combining financial incentives with practical guidance and professional mentorship. With a total prize fund of €35,000, the awards aim to encourage creativity, ambition, and entrepreneurial thinking among students from all academic disciplines. The overall winner will receive a first-place cash prize of €10,000, creating a strong foundation for progressing a business idea into a commercial reality.
The competition is open to full-time registered third-level undergraduate and postgraduate students across the island of Ireland. Applications are welcomed from individuals as well as teams, including joint entries from different colleges, with the requirement that one college acts as the lead institution if the entry progresses to the final stage.
