Stage2 is looking for European early-stage startups, to take them from a functional prototype to first industrial series, complemented with market validation, and a growth strategy.
The Stage2 offers a truly transformational experience for industrial tech startups, with a hands-on program that delivers results.
The 6 months program will start in Jan’24 and will take place in Barcelona and online. Stage2 takes place on an industrial environment, equipped with workshop and shared equipment, ideal for hardware-based startups.
During the program, participants experience tangible acceleration of their ventures and secure an additional 18-month implementation phase, during which acquired insights are translated into action.
Objectives
The objectives of the program are:
- Capture new startups from universities, research centers and other sources, and take them to the next level.
- Support high impact hardware-based startups in Europe, taking them from a functional prototype to a first industrial series, complemented with market validation, and a growth strategy.
- Promote Europe’s Industrial Tech entrepreneurial ecosystem, strengthen the roleof the industrial sector & improve overall Europe’s competitiveness.
Criteria for Participation
Participation in this selection process requires meeting the following criteria:
- Hardware-based. Sectors might include: Medtech, Foodtech, Agrotech, Cleantech, Robotics & Automation, Mobility, and Industry 4.0 among others.
- Europe-based. This includes continental Europe.
- Full-time committed team. It requires the venture to count with more than one member, and be full-time committed.
- Functional prototype (TRL 5 to 6). Technology Readiness Level; technology validated in relevant environments.
- Incorporation: The company does not need to be legally established at the time of enrolment, but it must be before December 31st 2024.
