Are you ready to share your knowledge, learn from others and work for positive change in Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia? The Prague Civil Society Centre is happy to invite representatives of organisations and initiatives with experience attracting, empowering, and coaching new leaders to apply for a fully-funded three-day gathering.
What to expect?
- Showcase of initiatives: Through interactive displays and presentations, share what worked for you, what did not, and what can be inspirational for others.
- Keynote speeches: Learn from heads of established leadership programmes, as well as new initiatives experimenting with innovative methods about their successes and challenges in driving positive change.
- Brainstorming: Benefit from workshops and group discussions about how to channel grassroots energy in collaborative and strategic actions, achieve growth, build underlying trust, as well as capacity, and sustain leadership programmes in unfriendly and restrictive environments.
- Networking opportunities: Connect with like-minded peers, potential collaborators, and mentors. Build lasting relationships that can support your initiatives and expand your impact.
Who should apply?
- This event is open to both experienced members of organisations or initiatives with a proven track record in leadership development and aspiring youth activists successful in motivating and bringing together others for collective action. You should be involved in the following areas:
- new and creative leadership development programmes that can better respond to generational, technological, and socio-political, and economic changes,
- development of social movements and active citizenship, civil society and political educational programmes,
- youth and community empowerment,
- capacity-building programmes,
- gender equality,
- social entrepreneurship,
- environmental activism,
- start-up accelerators.
