The Business Incubation Program at the Ghana Climate Innovation Centre (GCIC) empowers entrepreneurs with innovative solutions for climate change adaptation and mitigation.
They support ventures across energy efficiency, renewable energy, solar power, climate-smart agriculture, waste management, and water purification. Larger businesses also benefit from tailored guidance to enhance sustainability in their operations.

Duration
- The incubation programme spans 6 to 9 months, during which entrepreneurs get significant support to refine their ventures and skills
Funding Information
- Up to CAD $21,000 in grant funding
Eligibility Criteria
- Legally registered and operational in Ghana for at least three (3) years.
- Not fewer than three (3) full-time employees.
- Minimum annual gross revenue of GHC 500.000 in the last two fiscal years.
- Must operate in one of the five (5) sectors of GC1C:
- Climate Smart Agriculture
- Domestic Waste Management
- Energy Efficiency
- Water Management & Purification
- Solar Power
- They encourage applications from businesses outside their five core sectors that demonstrate green initiatives, women-led entrepreneurship, and persons with disabilities to apply.
