Deadline: 10 January 2025
The Trade Commissioner Service is inviting applications for its Canadian Indigenous Business Accelerator to help up to six Canadian Indigenous-owned companies evaluate and prepare for exporting into the United States of America, with a focus on the US Pacific Northwest (PNW) region.
This virtual accelerator will last four weeks and will focus on innovative technologies in sectors that are seeing growing demand on the US PNW, including but not limited to clean technologies (environmental technologies) and information communication technologies.
The program will provide a mix of export-preparation curriculum, PNW market profile presentations, and business-to-business (B2B) introductions with local organizations and Tribal business communities to help participants grow their entrepreneurial skills and begin market validation in the USA.
The Accelerator will also offer an in-person programme in the Spring of 2025 where the participants will have the opportunity to meet with the indigenous business communities and business contacts made through the virtual program in PNW.
