The Asian Institute of Management – Dado Banatao Incubator Program is an innovation and entrepreneurship initiative designed to support startup founders in building scalable, sustainable, and impact-driven businesses in the Philippines.
The Focus areas, include technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, inclusive economic growth, startup incubation, acceleration, mentorship, entrepreneurial education, ideation to early-stage development, incubator program development, business scalability, financial sustainability, legal and corporate compliance, artificial intelligence, data-driven innovation, business model innovation, intellectual property, investment readiness, fundraising, and impact-driven entrepreneurship.
The program aims to promote inclusive and long-term economic growth in the Philippines by supporting technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. It focuses on creating solutions to global and emerging challenges while generating employment opportunities and enabling more equitable distribution of wealth.
It encourages innovation-driven entrepreneurs whose businesses have the potential to create impact across multiple sectors in Asia. The program is designed to support founders working on early-stage ideas as well as developing startups with growth potential.
The incubator offers multiple program tracks, including THINC AIM, which provides acceleration, incubation, and mentorship support for ideation to pre-early-stage startups. It also includes THINC SEED, which focuses on entrepreneurial education and development in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Another component, THINC X, serves as an incubator-for-incubators program, supporting higher education institutions and community-based incubation initiatives to strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems.
The AIM-DBI THINCOHORT 2026–2027 program is a 12-month structured development journey for startup founders. It provides access to industry leaders and mentors from across Asia who guide participants through essential areas of business development.
Throughout the program, founders work on key areas such as identity building, branding, finance, legal compliance, technology integration, business model innovation, data and artificial intelligence, organisational culture, intellectual property, investment readiness, fundraising, and sustainability.
The hybrid delivery model of the program allows participation with a strong focus on in-person engagement, enabling diverse working professionals and startup founders to benefit from practical learning and mentorship.
