The AfCFTA Startup Acceleration and Partnership Program is inviting applications to support high-potential African startups through business capacity strengthening, market expansion and strategic partnerships between Africa and the Republic of Korea.
The program focuses on enhancing the competitiveness and scalability of African startups, supporting market entry into Korea and other global markets, facilitating cross-border business partnerships and investment opportunities, and promoting innovation and commercialization across key AfCFTA priority sectors, including fintech, e-commerce, logistics, agri-tech, manufacturing, and digital platforms.
The initiative is aligned with the objectives of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and contributes to advancing intra-African trade, promoting industrial development, and enabling African businesses to compete in global markets. The program offers acceleration support, partnership opportunities, and market access assistance for selected startups.
African startups with innovative and scalable business models are eligible to apply for the program. Applicants must demonstrate readiness for international expansion and show interest in entering the Korean and global markets. Eligible startups should operate within sectors aligned with AfCFTA priorities, including fintech, e-commerce, logistics, agri-tech, manufacturing, and digital platforms.
