The Breva Thrive Grant Program provides catalytic financial support to early-stage and growing small businesses in the United States that demonstrate measurable positive impact within their communities.
Catalytic funding for small businesses, community impact generation, support for early-stage and growing for-profit enterprises, benefits to historically underserved populations, business viability and early traction, revenue generation requirement, and eligibility compliance for lawful and community-focused operations.
The program is designed to support U.S.-based for-profit small businesses that are legally registered and in good standing, with principal operations located within the United States or its territories. It emphasizes businesses that are actively contributing to their communities through measurable and trackable outcomes.
A key expectation of the program is that applicants demonstrate how their operations create meaningful community benefits such as improved access to essential goods or services or other forms of local economic or social contribution. While all eligible businesses are considered, those that can clearly show impact in historically underserved communities may be viewed favorably within the evaluation of community impact.
Applicants are generally expected to have at least twelve months of continuous operations prior to applying, although newer businesses may still qualify if they can demonstrate strong early traction or a clear pathway to near-term impact. In addition, businesses must have generated commercial revenue before applying, which is used as part of assessing overall business viability.
Certain categories of businesses are excluded from eligibility, including those involved in lobbying, partisan political activities, adult entertainment, cannabis, firearms, gambling, or any operations that are not in compliance with applicable laws. Businesses in bankruptcy or those unwilling to meet required data security standards are also not eligible for consideration.
The program provides a one-time grant of USD 5,000 to one selected recipient each calendar quarter, aiming to help strengthen and accelerate community-focused business growth.
