The SME Enhance Grant is requesting applications to support small and medium-sized enterprises invest in expansion, innovation, and productivity improvements.
The focus areas of the program include business expansion, diversification, innovation of operations, initial investment support, productivity improvement, promotion of entrepreneurship, economic exploitation of new ideas, digitalisation benefits, sustainable growth, competitiveness of SMEs, and job creation through productive investments.
This grant scheme is designed to assist enterprises in strengthening their business performance by supporting investments that enhance operational efficiency and growth potential. It encourages businesses to focus on innovation and diversification as key drivers of long-term success.
The scheme operates within a broader policy framework aimed at promoting a more competitive and smarter economy through innovation and digital transformation. It supports enterprises in adopting new approaches that improve productivity while contributing to sustainable economic development.
The program will remain active until 31 December 2026, subject to the availability of funds. The total allocated budget for the scheme is €6,000,000. Grants range from a minimum of €10,000 to a maximum of €128,400 for eligible investments, including an additional allocation to cover indirect costs.
Eligibility is open to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises engaged in economic activities, including start-ups classified as micro or small enterprises. Applicants must comply with legal registration requirements, including those applicable to entities without legal personality.
