The Zensurance Grant 2023 application is open to all Canadian entrepreneurs, startups, and small business owners with a compelling story to tell about their businesses.
A shortlist of five entrants will be announced and notified on November 15, 2023. One winner will be selected by their judging panel on December 1, 2023.
Funding Information
Zensurance is giving away a $10,000 grant to one lucky entrepreneur or small business owner to support them and help them grow their small business or startup.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this Promotion, you must be a budding entrepreneur and/or the owner of a small business (“participant”), for-profit, not-for-profit and social enterprises are eligible, or an employee of an eligible business with written permission from the owner, president or chief executive officer of the business, and fit the following criteria:
- be a revenue-generating Canadian business with 1-100 employees;
- the company must have a business bank account that is not used for any personal expenditure.
- the company must not have annual revenue exceeding one million dollars ($1,000,000).
What the Judges are looking for?
A strong submission should contain:
- Your business’s story. What you do, what makes your business unique, the challenges you’re facing and those you’ve overcome, and what inspires you to keep going.
- Your business goals. Where do you want your business to go? What are your short- and long-term goals? Tell them how you plan to get there.
- Positive social impact. Explain how your business contributes to making positive social change in your community and the wider world.
- A plan for how you’ll use the grant. If you’re the chosen winner, what will you do with the grant money? Outline how it’ll help you achieve your aspirations and fuel success.
