Open Call for Bilateral Cooperation in Green and Blue Sector

The Call will finance bilateral cooperation between at least one entity from Croatia and at least one entity from the Donor State (Norway).

Aims

• The Call aims to increase the long-term bilateral business cooperation between Croatia and Norway in the Blue Growth and Green Industry Innovation focus areas.

Areas of Cooperation

• Renewable energy and other forms of clean energy solutions
• Resource efficiency and circular economy
• Sustainable blue economy
• Energy storage including batteries
• Zero-emission transport including green shipping
• Sustainable bioeconomy
• Smart/sustainable city solutions
• Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS)
• Other relevant areas

Funding Available

• The total amount available for projects is 325,000 euro. The budget may be increased subject to additional savings in projects from other calls.
  • The minimum amount of grant to apply for is 25,000 euro.
  • The maximum amount of grant to apply for is 100,000 euro.

Eligible Activities

Activities aimed at strengthening long-term bilateral relations, increasing cooperation, and improving mutual knowledge and understanding of business opportunities in the blue growth and green transition. The activities can include, but are not limited to:

• Feasibility studies, data collection, reports, analysis for mutual increased insights about bilateral markets opportunities, new technologies, solutions etc.
• Study trips
• Workshops
• Networking, matchmaking, sharing and transfer of knowledge, technology, solutions and best practices
• Establishing cooperation between clusters, business associations or networks in the benefit of the relevant business sectors.

Who Can Apply?

• Any entity, public or private, commercial or non-commercial, established as a legal person in Croatia or in Norway.
• Project cooperation between Croatia and Norway is mandatory in this Call.
• Entities from Croatia can apply if they have a partner from Norway.
• Entities from Norway can apply if they have a partner from Croatia.
