Local community organisations are invited to apply for the new One Manchester Community Fund, to support the customers and the local communities.
Social Priorities

- Supporting the capacity of local groups and individuals to enable them to continue to support their own communities.

- Helping to improve the local environment and acting responsibly to reduce the global environmental impact.

- Healthier and happier people in the communities
- Providing and supporting activities and services that improve wellbeing and reduce social isolation.
Funding Information
- They’ve got grants of between £3,000 and £10,000 available, to fund programmes that will make a real impact for the customers. They want to fund projects that help the customers and local communities to thrive.
What are they looking for?
- This fund is all about supporting projects that will enrich the lives of the customers.
- They want to see projects that:
- Will deliver activities that support the local community – such as cooking classes, social activities, and mental health/wellbeing groups.
- Successful applications will:
- Show them you have a good understanding of the customers and how your project will make a difference in their lives.
- Support the customers who are lonely or isolated.
- Show them how your project will successfully tackle any challenges in engaging participants or delivering services.
- Leave a positive impact that lasts well beyond the initial months of funding.
Who can apply?
- The fund is open for applications from local voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations.
- They’re unfortunately unable to accept applications from individuals.
- They’re happy to accept partnership applications. However, please note that the lead applicant will be accountable for funding, delivery of the project and monitoring and evaluation requirements.
- They’re on the lookout for projects that support the customers in the neighbourhoods, helping to reduce their money worries and boost their well-being.
- Projects will be required to ensure they are targeting One Manchester customers.
