The Home and Business Battery Scheme provides funding for businesses and not-for-profit organisations to buy and install batteries and inverters.
Funding can be used to:
- buy and install a solar photovoltaic (PV) with an eligible battery and inverter
- buy and install an eligible battery and inverter only, if you already have solar PV installed.
Applicants cannot use the funding to buy and install solar PV panels and inverters where they are not being installed simultaneously with a battery.
What do you get?
- Funding of $400 per kilowatt hour of useable battery system capacity, up to a maximum of $5000.
Who is this for?
- Northern Territory businesses and not-for-profit or community organisations.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible applicants include:
- a registered owner of a residential property in the Northern Territory
- a registered Northern Territory business
- a not-for-profit or community organisation operating in the Northern Territory in either owned or leased premises.
