The Ministry of Culture is requesting grant applications to support cultural projects that aim to generate meaningful social transformation through culture in Spain.
The focus areas, of this call include promoting cultural participation for all citizens with special attention to groups facing barriers to access, advancing cultural democracy and cultural rights, encouraging the transversality of culture by connecting it with other sectors and public services, strengthening citizen engagement and active community participation through culture, and enhancing cohesion and collaboration within the cultural sector by fostering networks among cultural agents across urban and rural areas.
This call is designed to finance projects that use culture as a tool to address social challenges and create positive societal change. It emphasizes the role of culture in fostering inclusion, participation, and collaboration across diverse communities and sectors.
The program supports both non-profit and for-profit legal entities that are legally established and have tax residence in Spain, including those from European Union Member States and countries within the European Economic Area. These organizations must be properly constituted by the end of the application period to be eligible.
The total budget allocated for this call is €4,700,000, providing significant support for impactful cultural initiatives. Applicants can request a minimum of €10,000 and a maximum of €80,000, depending on the scope and scale of their proposed projects.
Through this initiative, the program aims to strengthen the cultural ecosystem while promoting inclusive participation and fostering collaboration among cultural actors to achieve long-term social impact.
