The Ministry of Culture is seeking grant applications to support professional and business projects that promote innovation and enhance the legal digital cultural content supply within the cultural and creative industries in Spain.
The focus areas, of this opportunity include promoting innovation in cultural and creative industries, increasing the legal supply of digital cultural content, and supporting projects across sectors such as architecture, audiovisual arts, performing arts, plastic and visual arts, film, design, cultural management, books, fashion, music and dance, media, cultural heritage, and cultural tourism.
The total budget allocated for this call is €2,940,000, with a maximum grant amount of up to €50,000 available per project. This funding aims to support impactful and innovative projects that strengthen Spain’s cultural and creative economy.
This funding is designed to finance private, for-profit initiatives that contribute to the modernization and renewal of cultural and creative sectors. The program emphasizes strengthening innovation and supporting projects that adapt to evolving cultural and digital landscapes.
Eligible applicants include legally constituted for-profit entities with tax residence in Spain, as well as self-employed professionals registered under the relevant legal framework. Applicants must qualify as small enterprises or micro-enterprises as defined under European Union regulations. Public administrations, non-profit organizations, and certain business group structures are not eligible to apply.
There are also specific restrictions for applicants, including limitations on receiving funding in more than three consecutive calls. Entities that have already been funded in the last three calls are not eligible for this round. Additionally, applicants must comply with general subsidy regulations and must not fall under any legal prohibitions or engage in discriminatory practices.
