The Fondo Mujer is seeking to select women’s organizations dedicated to care community of people, who will be beneficiaries of the Caregiver Woman Route of the Women’s Fund.
Benefts
- Specialized diagnosis, in order to characterize their associative/organizational, productive, commercial, financial and administrative capabilities, as well as leadership, self-recognition and self-care skills, and opportunities for the organization’s care activities.
- Technical assistance and specialized support, to enhance the capabilities and performance of the organization and its care activity, as well as the skills for the economic autonomy of women caregivers.
- Opportunity to participate in spaces aimed at promoting the exchange of knowledge between peers, including community care organizations, leaders, experts, community members, among others, that allow them to capitalize on knowledge and consolidate communities of women, support networks and cooperation.
- Contribution of productive capital for a value of up to $50 million pesos per organization, which can be used to purchase machinery, equipment, furniture, supplies, among others.
- Strengthening opportunities for commercial connection, promoting mutually beneficial relationships between the organization, its suppliers and effective connection actions with the market.
- Monitoring and evaluation of results of each organization, in order to analyze key indicators and identify lessons learned, success stories and improvements in future processes.
Duration
- The duration of the intervention will vary depending on the results of the diagnosis and the strengthening actions identified for each beneficiary. In any case, it will not be longer than ten (10) months after your connection begins.
Geographic Coverage
- For this specific call for the Women Caregiver Route, up to ninety (90) community care organizations will be selected, whose main headquarters of the organization is located in one of the departments of Chocó, Vichada, Guaviare, Guainía, Vaupés, Amazonas or in one of the municipalities that make up the Montes de María area, the Urabá Antioquia area or the municipality of Buenaventura.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be a beneficiary of this call, the applicant organization must meet the following qualifying requirements:
- Be a community care organization for people: That is, being a collective, cooperative, association, group or other type of organization, formal and informal (therefore, the organization does not need to be formally constituted to enter the route), that carry out community care activities for the care of people. . The activities they carry out include a wide range of actions that can be developed at the same time and without being exclusive, such as: (i) care for pregnant people, and care before, during and after childbirth, (ii) care aimed at girls, boys and adolescents, (iii) care or support aimed at older people, (iv) care, support or assistance for people with disabilities, (v) preparation and supply of food to the community (kitchen pots, community kitchens or restaurants, community gardens, among others). others), (vi) care activities associated with the support of schoolwork, cultural, training or recreational events for the community, among other actions aimed at caring for people.
- Be a predominantly women’s organization, that is, the majority of the organization’s members/associates are women (at least 50%+1 of its total members) and participation has corresponded to them for at least the last year prior to the closing date of this call.
- The organization must have as members/associates at least five (5) Colombian women, over 18 years of age.
- The organization must have its main headquarters for the care activity in any of the following territories: in one of the departments of Chocó, Vichada, Guaviare, Guainía, Vaupés, Amazonas or in one of the municipalities that make up the Montes de zone. María, area of Urabá Antioquia or the municipality of Buenaventura.
- The organization must have been in operation (operation and/or care activity) for at least 1 year prior to the date of publication of this invitation. This can be verified through any of the following options:
- Certification of the Cabildo or community council
- Certification or letters of knowledge of cooperatives
- Certification or letters of knowledge from international organizations
- Certification from the Ministry of the Interior
- Certifications or letters of knowledge issued by entities with whom the organization has had service or supply contracts.
- Certification of Community Action Boards
- Certifications letters of knowledge from other associations, networks or organizations formal.
- Chamber of Commerce Registration
- The organization cannot have been a beneficiary of similar programs of the FONDO MUJER, that is, routes or programs with which they have received contributions or endowment of productive capital.
- None of the people (women and men) associated with the organization:
- Can have a relationship up to the fourth degree of consanguinity, second degree of affinity, and first degree of civil relationship with officials or contractors of the FONDO MUJER.
- Be immersed in disabilities or incompatibilities to contract provided in the constitution and in law 80 of 1993.
- Hold the status of public servant described in article 8 of Law 80 of 1993.
- Serve as a collaborator of the Fondo Mujer.
