2024 ActivateYYC Grants is open to anyone who is eager to transform the public realm of their city, with hopes of creating healthier, safer, and more engaging public spaces in the communities.
Funding Information
- Grants range from $500-$5,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- All community associations, organizations, non-profits, businesses, or individuals are eligible to apply.
- Only ideas that involve physical public realm infrastructure and improvements (i.e. benches, basketball nets, shrubs, paint, etc.) are eligible, artists fees may be eligible.
- ActivateYYC is NOT able to fund events, operational or staffing costs.
- Interventions must be freely accessible to the public, considerate of all ages and abilities and receive final approval from the ActivateYYC team at the Federation before proceeding.
- Activations must be completed and installed by November 30th, 2024.
- Purchases must be matched with a receipt/payment invoice and submitted with the final report.
