Deadline Date: December 11, 2026
The Ekintzaile programme supports entrepreneurs and companies by providing funding and guidance to develop, plan, and launch innovative business projects with the support of Business Innovation Centers.
The focus areas of the programme include innovative and/or technology-based business projects, industrial projects and related services, business plan development, entrepreneurial project support, and intrapreneurship initiatives that create new business opportunities.
Ekintzaile 2026 offers flexible and tailored support to help applicants analyze the viability of their ideas, prepare business plans, and move forward with launching their projects. For intrapreneurial projects, the programme supports the creation of new business ventures that diversify a company’s existing activities.
Business Innovation Centers (BICs) provide mentorship and act as facilitators in the development and implementation of supported projects. They also connect projects with the Basque entrepreneurial ecosystem and encourage interaction with the business community in each region.
The programme provides two lines of support to accompany the maturation of ideas and the launch of entrepreneurial projects. The support is provided through non-refundable grants for project development and business plan preparation for entrepreneur-led initiatives and company-led intrapreneurship projects.
Both support lines offer specialized assistance adapted to each project’s needs, from the development of an idea to its launch and, where applicable, the creation of a new commercial entity.
Eligible projects can receive non-refundable grants of up to €30,000 for business projects promoted by individuals or newly created companies in the maturation and start-up phases, provided they have the supervision of a Business Innovation Center (BIC).
The initiative is open to applicants with innovative projects in industry or related services, technology-based business ideas requiring a business plan, individuals seeking to start their own business, or companies with new business opportunities.
