The National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) is seeking applications for the BeyGOOD x Cécred Salon Business Grant Program.
They recognize running your own business is difficult, no matter if you rent a booth, operate a salon, or work out of your home.
Each year grants will be awarded to qualifying salon business owners in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, and New Jersey so they can continue their transformative impact in the community.
Funding Information
- Five $10,000 Salon Business Grants will be awarded every other month, one in each of the 5 key market.
Criteria
- Operate within one of the five focus markets:
- Atlanta
- Chicago
- Houston
- Los Angeles
- New Jersey
- Demonstrated need due to hardship.
- Licensed cosmetologist for a minimum of 2 years.
- Lease agreement for floating salon station or lease agreement for salon or proof of ownership.
- Compelling impact statement: personal statement/life impact story.
- In business for a minimum of 1 year.
