Applications are now open for the Home for Dreams Initiative, a mentorship and grant program created to support Black-owned businesses with capital, advisory meetings and brand amplification.
The goal of this program is to not only provide financial support, but also share what they’ve learned while building Parachute. They believe they are best positioned to make an impact focusing on companies that also sell physical products.
Program Benefits
- Recurring 1:1s with Ariel Kaye, Parachute Founder.
- Recurring meetings with and access to the team members: including finance, marketing and more.
- A $25k grant to spend on your business.
- Amplification of your brand through the email and social channels.
- The mentorship aspect of the program includes:
- Ongoing meetings with Parachute’s founder, Ariel
- Monthly video calls with team members across all departments
- Ongoing access to the Parachute team through the communication channels (email, Slack)
- Amplification of your brand via Parachute’s newsletter and social channels
Criteria
- The program is only open to businesses based in the United States.
- They are only accepting one application and one business per applicant.
- The only requirement is that recipients use the grant funding for legitimate business expenses that are consistent with what’s outlined in their application.
- Employees of Parachute are welcome to apply if they meet the requirements.
