Deadline Date: August 14, 2026
The Market and Audience Development Grant is inviting applications to support initiatives that strengthen audience engagement and expand support for artistic work in Singapore.
The focus areas of this opportunity include marketing and audience development initiatives such as market research and audience surveys, branding, marketing and publicity for arts groups or specific productions, and the development and production of resource materials and collateral to support audience and sponsor engagement.
Funding support of up to $70,000 per financial year is available for each eligible applicant, enabling sustained development of outreach and engagement activities within the arts ecosystem.
The grant is designed to help individuals and organisations in the arts sector build stronger connections with audiences, patrons, and supporters. It encourages strategic efforts that enhance visibility and promote sustained engagement for artistic projects and organisations.
Eligibility extends to Singapore citizens and permanent residents actively involved in the local arts scene, including artists, performers, writers, curators, producers, and other arts professionals, with priority given to self-employed persons residing in Singapore. Arts organisations registered with ACRA or the Registry of Societies are also eligible, including sole proprietorships, LLPs, companies, and societies operating within the arts sector.
Collaborative proposals involving foreign participants are allowed, provided that the lead applicant and at least half of the team are Singapore citizens or permanent residents. However, applications will not be supported if they are non-secular, already commenced before submission, lack a clear arts component, are held at religious venues, or are not intended for public engagement.
The grant aims to strengthen the visibility and sustainability of the arts sector by enabling effective audience development strategies and supporting meaningful engagement with the public.
