The Location Promotion is requesting applications to support businesses planning to establish, relocate, or expand their operations in Vienna through financial assistance for infrastructure and development.
The focus areas of this program include construction measures such as new buildings and conversions, acquisition and renovation of building structures, and services including architectural and planning support.
The Vienna Business Development Program is designed to assist companies in setting up new locations or expanding existing facilities within Vienna. It offers funding to support critical aspects of infrastructure development, enabling businesses to establish a strong operational base in the city.
Eligible applicants include small and medium-sized enterprises, large companies, founders, and businesses planning to relocate to Vienna or establish their headquarters there. The program is specifically targeted at industries such as manufacturing, production-related services, research, development, and waste management.
The funding covers a range of eligible costs including construction activities, purchase and renovation of buildings, as well as architectural and planning services. Companies can benefit from a funding rate of 10 to 20 percent, with the maximum funding amount ranging between 300,000 euros and 500,000 euros.
To qualify, projects must meet a minimum size requirement of 150,000 euros for small businesses and 300,000 euros for medium-sized and large enterprises. The program also allows for partial payments of up to 50 percent of the approved funding amount, providing financial flexibility during project implementation.
Projects funded under this program must be completed within a maximum duration of four years, ensuring timely execution and efficient use of resources.
