The Orange Corners Innovation Fund is inviting applications to support early-stage startups by enabling fund managers to invest in innovative young entrepreneurs and strengthen business growth and job creation in target regions.
The programme focuses on startup investment, entrepreneurship development, innovation, youth employment, private sector growth, business scaling, investment readiness, commercial follow-up investments, economic growth, and support for startups in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
The Orange Corners Innovation Fund subsidy programme provides capital to fund managers that invest in early-stage startups led by young entrepreneurs. The initiative is designed to help innovative businesses transform local solutions into practical and scalable business models while strengthening entrepreneurship ecosystems in target locations.
A total budget of €2.2 million has been allocated for the current application round, with Benin identified as the target location. The Netherlands Enterprise Agency will provide one subsidy for the selected target location under this funding round.
The programme aims to support fund managers working to prepare young entrepreneurs for investment opportunities and help them attract commercial follow-up investments. It also seeks to contribute to medium- and long-term private sector development and strengthen the business environment in participating regions.
The initiative further supports efforts to address youth unemployment and promote sustainable economic growth through startup support and entrepreneurial development activities.
