Applications open for MG Developer Program and Grant (India)

The focus areas include innovation in logistics and supply chain, artificial intelligence in automotive systems, V2X intelligence, sustainability and circular economy solutions, EV battery recycling and repurposing, EV battery diagnostics, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, vehicle technology innovation, manufacturing innovation, Make in India initiatives including localization and cost reduction in materials and inventory, digital transformation covering connected car services and order-to-delivery automation, and customer experience solutions including AI-powered services, digital CRM, knowledge management, and retail automation.

The programme aims to encourage students, innovators, startups, inventors, and technology companies to design and develop practical solutions for the automotive sector. It is structured to support the creation of scalable innovations that can be implemented within real-world mobility systems.

Participants benefit from mentorship, technical guidance, learning resources, and business modelling support. The programme also enables networking opportunities with other innovators and access to a wider ecosystem of startups and development programmes offered by consortium partners. This collaborative environment is designed to strengthen solution development and encourage industry integration.

The initiative provides selected participants with recognition opportunities, including public relations exposure for winning startups. In addition, grants may be awarded to selected projects based on evaluation by the programme jury, with funding decisions made on a case-by-case basis.
