BMO is excited to present the Celebrating Women Grant Program in collaboration with Deloitte.
They’re looking for women business owners who are motivated by growth and change and are excited to break barriers to achieve success. They recognize that access to funding and capital is a challenge that women business owners often face.
The BMO Celebrating Women Grant Program will assess applicants based on their high-level business growth plans. Any type of business growth will be considered whether expanding into a new market or creating a new product/service.
Funding Information
- Fifteen women-owned businesses will receive a $10,000 grant to take their businesses to the next level.

- They help you achieve real financial progress in your business through practical tools, webinars and coaching.

- They’ve formed partnerships with organizations to give you access to meaningful networks and alternative funding sources.
Get easier access to capital for your business
- Enjoy flexible funding and access to learning and networking opportunities. The lending program1footnote 1, currently available within BMO branches, allows women-owned businesses to get the financial support needed to succeed.
- Get a revolving business line of credit up to $50,000 that allows you to only pay interest on what you borrow,
- Enjoy a 0.25% rate discount on your line of credit when you set up automatic payments from a BMO business or personal (if a sole proprietor) checking account,
- Get improved access to funding with the specialized lending criteria
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible for the BMO Celebrating Women Grant Program, you’ll need to show them your high-level overview of your business growth strategy.
- You’ll also need to meet specific eligibility criteria as an applicant and business.
- Criteria for applicants:
- You’re the owner of a business
- You’re a resident of the U.S.
- You’ve reached the legal age of majority in the state where your business resides
- Criteria for businesses:
- Must be at least 51% owned or controlled by women or by individuals who self-identify as women
- Currently active and operating in the U.S. and in accordance with all applicable laws, licenses and regulations
- Has a physical location (or a mailing address for their headquarters) in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming. Businesses located in Michigan or Texas must be within 100 miles of a BMO full-service retail branch.
- Must be a for-profit business with annual revenues of $5 million USD or less
- In good standing and operating in the state in which the business is registered
- In operation selling a product or service for at least two years as of April 1, 2024
