Apply for the ZICTA ICT Innovation Programme, Authority’s flagship initiative aimed at providing business and technical developmental support services to ICT related innovators, startups, and entrepreneurs.
It targets local youths with innovative, viable, and scalable ICT-related ideas or business ventures that attempt to solve current challenges across various sectors of the economy.
The programme brings together promising upcoming innovators to develop or grow their tech-related innovations or projects into tangible, value-adding products or services, impacting different sections of the Zambian society.
Key benefits for participants include soft skills and personal development workshops, mentorship with industry experts, access to technical/prototype testing devices, and funding opportunities for commercialisation or scale-up of innovative projects.
Eligibility Requirements
- Open to Zambian youths aged 18-35 with innovative solutions for socio-economic challenges. Selection is based on innovativeness, business potential, technical feasibility, and social impact.
- Financial support for project commercialization is awarded to selected finalists each year, chosen for their promising projects by an independent panel of judges.
