Volta’s Women Taking over the World with Tech (WTWT) Virtual Pitch Competition is open to founders identifying as women within the Atlantic Canadian tech ecosystem.
This event provides an opportunity for women entrepreneurs to practice their pitches and receive feedback from a panel of industry experts. The judging panel is comprised of experienced entrepreneurs, potential investors and community leaders. Judging will be based on the pitch, business idea, and will focus on presentation quality and content.
Women Taking Over The World With Tech (WTWT) supports women Atlantic Canadian founders, leaders, and employees in the technology sector. The goal of WTWT is for participants to find a new skill, a new mentor, and a broader network and more resources to start, launch, or grow their tech startups. All women working in tech are welcome!

Involvement
- Volta supports those who are part of the regional tech and innovation community. Participation in past Volta programs, workshops, and events will increase the chances of being selected.
The Idea
- When providing a description of your company or idea, be sure to outline its originality. When reviewing the applications they will be looking at the information provided and since they’re a tech innovation hub – the technological component or your company or idea.
