The Barclays Eagle Labs Scaleup Programme is a four-month hybrid initiative designed to help high-growth UK tech companies overcome the challenges of scaling and accelerate their journey to the next stage of growth.
The programme focuses on four key pillars of scaling: leadership, people and operational foundations; scaling commercial performance; customer value, retention and expansion; and funding strategy and capital planning.
The Scaleup Programme is carefully structured to reflect the real-life challenges faced by fast-growing companies. Delivered over four months, it combines expert-led workshops with practical insights drawn from experienced founders. Participants engage in hands-on learning through in-person workshop days, supported by curated masterclasses and online resources that reinforce each stage of the scaling journey.
A strong emphasis is placed on personalised support and collaboration. Founders benefit from one-to-one and group coaching sessions, allowing them to address specific business challenges while also learning from peers facing similar growth pressures. The programme also facilitates valuable connections with corporates, customers, and ecosystem leaders, helping companies expand their networks and unlock new opportunities.
In addition to structured learning, participants gain access to a community of like-minded founders, fostering an environment of shared experience and mutual support. This community aspect is designed to mirror the pace and intensity of scaleup life while equipping businesses with the tools needed to thrive in competitive markets.
For eight standout companies, the Scaleup Elevate extension offers an additional two months of exclusive support, including a two-day founder retreat, PR opportunities, bespoke mentoring sessions, and VIP networking within the ecosystem. This extension is aimed at further accelerating the growth of the most promising participants.
The programme is best suited for UK-based tech businesses that have either raised or are generating £2 million or more in revenue, employ at least 10 people, and are driven by strong ambitions for rapid growth.
